Questions

What size UPS does a NAS need?

A 2-4 bay NAS with a router and switch draws about 60-150W. A 600-900VA UPS covers that with time to shut down cleanly.

Why does pure sine wave matter?

Modern power supplies with active PFC can switch off or buzz on a stepped (simulated) sine wave. Pure sine is the safe choice.
